Adopting Birds In Our Sanctuary
Adoptions are based on the quality of the Pet bird after it reaches our Sanctuary.And are not available for at least 30 days from the Rescue.Proper health Exams,Blood work Etc, takes time to get done and results back and evaluation done on the specific bird.
We Rescue,Evaluate,and if needed, Rehabilitate the bird back to Pet Quality to ensure the relationship of its final owner are a Quality, Loving and Trusting Relationship for the rest of the Feathered Friends Life.
We Do Not Adopt out Large Macaws Due to the Nature of Their size and Capabilities. Macaws should only be kept by Experienced Bird Handlers.

Adoption Are made possible by Hobbiest,Stores,Breeders,Etc, Who are after the Profit and who Do Not Educate the Public on the awareness of the upkeep and demands of these fine feathered friends.Although we have to understand that these are businesses and they are a For Profit Company selling a Product to the responsible public.So we should not Deem Pet Shops,Breeders,Hobbiest as Responsible.We are Human as they are and We should take the responsibility to ask questions,Educate ourselves! .Lets Educate and Understand Exotic Pets and their Species Before we Adopt,Not based on Compulsive Buying of a cute little cuddly Bird.Because the Bottom Line is this.IT WILL GROW! IT DOESNT STAY SWEET, CUDDLY AND PERFECT ALL ITS LIFE WITHOUT ENDLESS HOURS OF WORK,COMITMENT AND RESPONSIBILITY! Birds are surrenderd by people who invest $1000's of Dollars in the Pet,Cage and Supplies to End up Surrendering it to a Rescue Organization! Usually a Very Short time after they Purchase it!

Adoption Procedure and Available Pets
From time to time we may Rescue birds that are Adoptable to Educated Screened, Families. We go through an intense Questionaire and Screening Process and Contract Form to assue the Birds Placement is fit for the bird ,Proper for the family,and to Assure us that it is a Quality Caring, final home for the bird.There is an Adoption Fee selected and determined by Our Rescue and Sanctuary service.This fee goes towards the upkeep and care of the birds in our Facility.As we are self funded and non profit,We are not affiliated with any government funding. The rising costs of upkeep and providing proper care for rescue birds are mind boggling.The escalate higher each year that we do this.

We have Ruby shes a female Jenday Conure who came from an older family who could not provide for her and wanted us to see that she went to a loving home... this bird will not bite anyone . love everyone. youll have to see her to know just how tame she really is. the previous family who owned her spent alot of time on this baby. shes available and ready for adoption for 350.00
