We have over 15 years of large bird handling ,rehabilitating experience. We strive to be the best at what we do and offer as much assistance to the public as possible.We offer a Zupreem pellet and seed diet as well as fresh fruit and veggies to all our companions in house.We also have a Large enclosed porch overviewing the lakeside the birds will enjoy spending quality time in the sun.Were a medium size rescue so this means if we get full or have met or limit for personalized care we may offer a quality reference to another rescue closeby that have the capabilities to give the birds individualized attention,training and care.We would only ask you to speak with qualified,trusted rescues with good past references. Feel free to contact us at foreman1172@mchsi.com  or call us at 574-238-8347 Rich or Jenn

 Were Located on Lake Wawasee in Syracuse,Indiana.Were a self funded Rescue who funds all of the Gasoline,Cages,Avain bills,Feed,Toys etc out of pocket .We also highly depend on Private Donations and Sponsoship Programs we offer as well.We are not affiliated with any Government funding.So we take pride in what we offer as a service to the general public.We're currently expanded our room and serving area to all of Indiana,Michigan,Ohio,Illinois. We provide a Total Rescue & Sanctuary service to accomodate troubled birds,abused,pluckers,biters,screamers,retired birds, or just a pet who needs a good home.We do not buy birds so please do not inquire about selling us a bird.We also Do not breed any Rescue animals.Were a No Kill Rescue!If you  a friend or anyone you know may be thinking of surrendering their pet bird feel free to contact us at anytime to make arrangements or to just inquire about our service,Or even Educate the owner on the issues and maybe try to resolve it to be able to keep your bird so both of you have a happy ending!.

Rescue goal

Our goal is to provide a Troubled,Unwanted bird with the best a home has to offer.We offer the highest quality pet care.we love each and every pet as if we raised it ourself,and we understand that every pet is and requires different and unique structuring to maintain the highest level of trust and bond between human and pets.each pet have its own needs in life and special attention to insure the quality of life for the animal.

We appreciate everyones thought and input and we do own and have personal birds that we do and have adopted out in the past as well as rescue birds.Most Macaws and Large birds we take in never leave our home. they stay here forever.However from time to time we get so many smaller birds that the numerous amounts of small cages take up so much space that we do initially place them into quality homes.Anyone who surrenders a bird to us is fully aware of what we do and how we do it here as well.We try to find time to keep previous owners updated on their friends well being,health and accomplishments
